Seattle is ready. An ownership group was ready to bring the Sacramento Kings, they offered over $625 million for them, and we were still denied. We haven't had our team for six seasons now. The previous NBA Commissioner, David Stern, clearly did not do anything for Seattle, when asked about the NBA future in Seattle, he answered "This is going to be short for me. I have a game to get to in Oklahoma City." Our current NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver, has stated that he is not David Stern and wanting to get a team back in Seattle is one of his biggest priorities. Over 700,000 people showed up to the Super Bowl parade, the Seattle fans are passionate about their sports teams. They have supported the Sonics for 41 years, the fans are ready and eager for an NBA team. Please Bring Back Our Sonics.
