In February 2020, Earth Fare which was previously located in Brier Creek closed its doors due to financial stress. Since this happened right around the start of the pandemic, it made sense to not make an issue of this establishment closing as so many others would soon follow suit. However, now that things are starting to return to normal in some way, it would be great to have the now vacant building that once housed Earth Fare once again filled with a natural foods grocery store option. While Lowes Food and Harris Teeter are both in close proximity, both of their produce sections and organic options pale in comparison to what would or could be offered by a Sprouts, Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh, or even Earth Fare if it were to return now that it has started to reopen the doors of some of its former stores. As a community who is clearly making their health a priority which is evidenced by the many people I see walking and running in the neighborhood, let's come together to bring businesses to our area that help support our health and well being.
