Dear Parents of Concord Magnet School (Norwalk, CT),

Please show your support for our CMS K-8 Community and Mr. T by signing this petition. It is so critical that we are not held in limbo any longer as we head into the new year.

As you know our treasured Principal, Mr. Medard Thomas (best known as Mr. T), has been on leave since November 29th with no word from the Board of Education or Central Office on the timeline of when this situation will be coming to a resolution. Mr. T is the backbone of our school. We are extremely worried since many principals and administrators were put on leave over the last few years and have never returned to their original position. Instead they have been moved to Central Office or a different position within the district. 

We are so worried that this will also happen to Mr. T. Our families, especially our kids, have been devastated by Mr. T's absence and would be utterly crushed if he does not return. Over the last month, we have all been able to feel the difference in the school. So much of what makes our school special is because of Mr. T. He is our generation's Mr. Perschino.

Please take a moment and think of what Mr. T means to your child(ren) and to your family. What impact has he made over the years? How has he gone above and beyond for your family? Our teachers are not allowed to comment on the current situation, how has Mr. T continuously supported them during his tenure as principal? How has he positively impacted our school community? Our whole community?
