We, the students of York County School of Technology, are interested in having a martial arts class or program offered at York Tech. A martial arts class would give students an opportunity to learn discipline, confidence, fitness, coordination, and valuable self defense skills in a structured and supervised environment.

We are creating this petition to show the school administration that there is genuine student interest in adding martial arts to York Tech's available classes and extracurricular opportunities. If enough students are interested, we hope the school will consider offering a martial arts class, club, or similar program in the future.
