Hi All - Can’t thank you all enough for signing.  I posted the petition on “Everything Townsville” FB page to get some more support and ended up turning notifications off as the critics started putting their 2cents in.  

Isn’t it funny how people will like and share absolute rubbish online, but try and do something good for the community and they wanna shoot you down?  You don’t even have to like country music to know an event like this would be good for Townsville.

Just because someone tried and failed before doesn’t mean the next person shouldn’t try.  Just because we lost KISS to NRL doesn’t mean we should give up trying forever. Just because I “only” have 8500 signatures doesn’t mean it’s not enough.

Do the math, those people buy just 2tickets each and you have more than what most city arenas can accommodate!  Just because they said “arena only” tour doesn’t mean they can’t change their mind.  If they don’t know what level of support they would get how can they make any decisions.  It would be great if he opened another concert or two anywhere in Australia at this point to give fans another shot.

Kappy saw one for the first time last night - maybe just maybe I’m making enough noise to peak their interest.  But the more the merrier.  Go like and share if you can, screen record my reels, to send messages of your own. Use  #bringluke2townsville in everything.  Gosh I’ve even started on TikTok which I swore I’d never lol which my adult kids are embarrassed about. Sorry, not sorry ;)
