On April 1, 2025, KitKat — a beloved 3-year-old Poodle–Miniature Pinscher mix — was taken from his family in Bellflower, California. Since that day, his family, including young children, have been devastated. KitKat isn’t just a pet; he is family. They were there when he was born, they nursed him back to health when he nearly died of Parvo as a puppy, and they have cherished every moment of his life.

After months of searching shelters, handing out flyers, and contacting rescues, KitKat’s family discovered his photo on AdoptAPet.com's listing in August. They recognized him immediately as his distinctive floppy ear gave him away. They reached out to the rescue, Fur Baby Rescue and exchanged photos, and even heard a description of his personality that perfectly matched KitKat.

Tragically, KitKat was adopted out to another family, possibly in the Monterey Park or Santa Clarita area. Legally, the options to bring him home are limited. But morally, there is only one right answer: KitKat belongs with the family that has loved and raised him from birth.
