KFC is a popular fast food outlet and for many years Deniliquin residents got to enjoy having it in town before it all came to an end.

Seeing the former KFC building gives residents a longing for KFC to return, people are travelling to Echuca for their KFC fix and why should money be spent in Echuca when it can be spent in Deniliquin. 

While some point out that KFC failed in Deniliquin once before, the amount of time that has passed plus the change in what people eat can make it possible to relaunch KFC in town successfully.

Deniliquin is a town on the way up, the events calendar is getting filled in more year by year and an air service is getting looked at and that means tourists are and will be making their way to town and that means opportunity to make $$$.

It is hoped that Edward River Council can entice a KFC franchise owner to set up shop in town again, we've got Subway and McDonalds and having KFC would be another feather in the cap of the town when it comes to big franchises.
