I, a proud first-generation immigrant, along with countless others in Albuquerque and New Mexico, miss the taste of home - a significant part of which is Jollibee. Named as the "Fastest Growing Asian Restaurant in the US" in 2018, by Technomic's Top 500 Chain Restaurant Report, Jollibee has proven to be more than a food chain; it's a symbol of home for many of us, offering a tangible connection to our roots. Our town, Albuquerque, New Mexico, however, is missing this token of home. Our community, in which an often-overlooked Filipino-American population thrives, deserves access to this essential piece of cultural heritage. The power to bring Jollibee to Albuquerque lies within us as community members as well as you, the esteemed representatives of Jollibee. Let's unite in bringing Jollibee to Albuquerque, making our city even more welcoming and diverse.
