Bring Garden City Back To Bangalore

Bring Garden City Back To Bangalore
The Issue
Bangalore, once known as the Garden City of India, has sadly lost its green charm. Nowadays, it feels more like a desert with gardens turning into dustbowls. The temperature keeps climbing, making it hotter than it was a decade ago. All in the name of progress, they've covered the soil with concrete, chopped down trees, and messed up the lakes. The air? Hot and dusty all the time, totally ruining the city's vibe.
It's the kids and old folks who are feeling it the worst. Even regular commuters are fed up with the deteriorating scene. And with businesses packing up due to water shortages and unpredictable weather, who can blame them? Nobody wants to step out in this non-Bangalorean weather. If we don't act fast, Bangalore might end up a ghost town. And eventually if the IT companies bail, the city's lifelines will collapse. Those shiny new apartments as well as the old homes will stand empty, echoing the city's downfall.
It's high time for the government to step in and take action. For the sake of the glorious founder Naada Prabhu Kempe Gowda I, the proud dwellers, the admiring people who come here for work and fall in love with the city, we need to bring back the greenery that once defined Bangalore.
Suggestions: # Let's revitalize the existing gardens and parks # We must safeguard the big trees from the clutches of greedy real estate developers # Inspire people to plant more and more trees. # Govt can acquire 1 acre land in every 30 Kms circle area and create a protected jungle, and name it Project O2 ( Oxygen).
There's still time to turn things around, and we believe in the welfare initiatives of the state government. We urge the authorities to prioritize saving Bangalore and restoring its green soul. Let's work together to ensure a brighter, greener future for our city, on an emergency basis.
Hope this petition gains the support of concerned and like-minded citizens of Bangalore. Let's make it successful so that it reaches our Honorable Deputy Chief Minister. I'm sure, being a popular leader and a concerned resident of the city, he will do the needful.
