Bring the Starship autonomous food delivery robots to UVA!

Over 20 universities around the United States have welcomed Starship into their communities. Autonomous robots provide low-cost delivery over short distances. While other food delivery services like Doordash and Uber Eats are popular among UVA students, there is no solution for dining hall to dorm/study space delivery.

This issue has been emphasized by the Covid-19 pandemic, with sick students needing special service to receive their meals without putting others at risk. Starship could alleviate this issue, along with increasing accessibility to students with disabilities that may struggle to get to a dining hall. Furthermore, Starship will increase student productivity by relieving the need to leave your dorm for food during that late-night study session.
