The Issue

I am a passionate gamer and have always admired the creative storytelling and immersive worlds provided by video games. One such game that truly resonated with me is Detroit: Become Human. This game, with its thought-provoking narrative and stunning graphics, is a masterpiece that I firmly believe should not be exclusive to just PlayStation or PC.

Detroit: Become Human, developed by Quantic Dream, has been critically acclaimed for its narrative depth, complex characters, and alternative story paths that players can explore. According to Metacritic, it boasts an impressive score of 78% based on aggregate reviews on PlayStation 4. Yet, despite its popularity and acclaim, this game remains locked away from a wider audience by not being available on Nintendo's popular handheld console, the Nintendo Switch.

As of 2020, there are over 79.87 million Nintendo Switch units sold globally, according to Statista. This is a vast community of players who are unable to experience Detroit: Become Human on their chosen gaming platform.

With the new upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console's release on the horizon, and with it being much more powerful than its successor, it may be able to run Detroit: Become Human better than the original Nintendo Switch ever could.

By urging Quantic Dream and Nintendo to collaborate in bringing Detroit: Become Human to the Nintendo Switch 2, we can ensure that more gamers have access to this unique and compelling narrative experience. This is a call to action for all gaming enthusiasts, to voice our collective demand and show the powers that be that there is a demand for Detroit: Become Human on Nintendo Switch 2.

Let's not limit quality gaming experiences to a select few platforms. Everyone deserves to witness the masterpiece that is Detroit: Become Human. Make your voice heard, let's bring Detroit: Become Human to Nintendo Switch 2. Sign this petition and spread the word.
