The Issue

To: Orange County Animal Services, The City of Apopka, and Orange County Officials
We, the undersigned, urgently request that Confetti, an injured stray cat legally adopted and microchipped to Purrrfect Angels Cat Rescue, be returned to the licensed rescue for proper care. Confetti is medically vulnerable, legally owned by the rescue, and has already received over $4,000 in veterinary care.
Confetti was originally saved from the euthanasia list at Orange County Animal Services after being hit by a car, suffering a broken jaw, and arriving unspayed with fleas and intestinal parasites. The rescue provided emergency veterinary treatment and foster care to ensure her survival.
After her legal adoption, a private individual claiming prior ownership repeatedly harassed and threatened the rescue director, fosters, and the veterinary clinic, forcing the rescue to surrender Confetti under duress. Shortly afterward, video evidence shows Confetti placed in unsafe situations, including riding on a bicycle, where she fell, was hit by a car, and then was found by a bystander. She is now loose, unspayed, medically vulnerable, and at risk again.

Confetti Needs Immediate Protection
Confetti urgently requires ongoing veterinary care for her injuries, flea and parasite prevention, a safe foster home through Purrrfect Angels Cat Rescue, scheduled spay surgery, and protection from further displacement.
Her microchip is legally registered to Purrrfect Angels Cat Rescue, which saved her life and paid for her medical care. She is currently being deprived of lawful safety and continuity of care.

We Urgently Request
Immediate retrieval of Confetti as a stray
Verification of her microchip and return to Purrrfect Angels Cat Rescue
Legal recognition of the rescue as her rightful owner
Investigation of harassment toward rescue workers and veterinary staff
Authorization for Confetti to continue medical care under licensed rescue care
Confetti Was Saved Once. Let’s Protect Her Again
No legally adopted animal should be surrendered due to threats or harassment. No medically compromised animal should be abandoned outdoors.
We ask Orange County Animal Services and the City of Apopka to act immediately according to legal ownership, veterinary records, and microchip registration.

Sign to support Confetti’s safe return and medical care. Bring her home to Purrrfect Angels Cat Rescue.
