Bring BTS's Arirang concert to Atlanta, GA
The Issue
In the whirlwind of the Hallyu wave, BTS has become a global sensation, moving hearts and breaking barriers with their music and artistry. As someone deeply moved by their performances and the power of their message, I joined countless others in admiration. When I first realized that I could help bring this magical experience closer to home through a petition, it was like a lightbulb moment. We, the ARMY in Georgia, harbor a dream of witnessing BTS's Arirang concert at the esteemed Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
This iconic venue isn’t just about its cutting-edge design; it’s about the spirit of the city it represents. Atlanta is a hub of culture and diversity, known for hosting international artists, and what better place to have BTS create history once again with their vibrant performance? The stadium’s world-class facilities ensure it would capture the energy and passion of BTS’s performances perfectly, offering fans an unforgettable experience.
There is no doubt that this concert would be a monumental event for Atlanta, drawing fans from across the state and beyond, generating tremendous economic benefit, and further establishing our city as a cultural mecca. According to the US Travel Association, large-scale concerts contribute millions to local economies in terms of tourism, hospitality, and other industries. Hosting BTS can significantly enhance the city’s attractiveness as a tourist destination.
Moreover, in 2019, the economic impact of concerts from Korean artists like BTS has averaged upwards of $4.2 billion globally in terms of local economies stimulated by concert-goers, according to the Korea Economic Institute. Bringing their tour here would not only satisfy the local and regional fanbase but also potentially introduce newcomers to the excellence of Korean music and culture.
By signing this petition, you're not just supporting a concert; you’re advocating for cultural diversity and unity through the universal language of music. Let’s show BTS and the world the love and enthusiasm we have here in Atlanta.
Join us in making a dream come true. Sign the petition to bring BTS's Arirang concert to Atlanta, GA.
