Ever since May of 2023 Wendy's has no longer been selling or advertising their Bourbon Bacon Burger. This burger, always served with a healthy helping of crispy onions, bourbon sauce, and Wendy's signature square patty, lit up plenty of people's lunches (and dinners) with its memorable and unique taste. After its unfortunate departure from the Wendy's menu, I have had nothing to look forward to. Every day I mourn the loss of that sweet Bourbon sauce that I used to regularly enjoy, and every night I dream of the sweet and savory crispy onions, only to awake from my slumber and be overcome with a familiar sense of dread that I have felt for months.
