Bring Back Week-Long Advisory!
Bring Back Week-Long Advisory!
The Issue
High school students are stressed and busy. Our days are filled with information being blasted at every angle.
For years, students have had the opportunity to attend homeroom. We would have a chance to take a half-hour break to relax, work on homework, or even make up tests. Just generally improve the day amidst the chaos. Unfortunately, this delightful privilege is being unrightfully stripped from our hands.
This is why we, the students of William Amos Hough High School, beg administration, CMS, caring parents, and anyone else, to listen to our call. We deserve to have advisory all week long.
With this, the schedule is not going to be disturbed. The current amount of time given still provides classes to be the required 85 minutes long. Additionally, testing weeks will not be affected due to being completely different already.
And thus, we ask you to sign the petition. We need to have a successful academic career without more stress and wasted time.
