Bring Back Trains to Solon, Ohio, and Beyond

Bring Back Trains to Solon, Ohio, and Beyond
The Issue
The people of Solon, Ohio, have been very disappointed and sad over the past 3 decades, because railroads have been pulled out of the city. Reasons are they want more jobs, resources, and industry, to help the city thrive and get better. Multiple residents have expressed their feelings on line. Some miss the line so much that they wish it could be back.
There are tracks currently standing, the abandoned former Erie Lackawanna Railroad tracks that are still there, but abandoned. If no one knows, they have crossings-ish at Harper Road, Solon Road, a bridge over Som Center Road, Liberty Road, and Flanders Drive. If the railroad line was reactivated by Norfolk Southern, added new rails, and added a second track (the line had 2 tracks until 1980s) along with the active one track all the way to Cleveland on the other side of Harper Road, it could benefit the city of Solon and the surrounding towns on the line, all the way to where it originally ended in Leavittsburg on its original path, by bringing huge benefits. These include jobs, resources, industry, and more things by train, and add happiness to the people who want to see trains along this line again.
Now is the time to act, and QUICKLY, because a rail trail called the Headwaters Trail is extending into parts of the former railway. If all the weeds, trees, etc. on the line could be removed, new gravel put into place, and rebuilt tracks along with new crossing lights and gates (new crossings overall). I get it, a rail trail is nice, but freight train service on a two-track line from Cleveland to Leavittsburg would heavily benefit the people. People would be very grateful and excited to have train service on the former Erie Lackawanna, now Norfolk Southern owned line. However, the rail trail is being formed on some old parts and tracks are being removed. If this was acted immediately, this could bring time to add gravel, tracks, and crossings all the way to Leavittsburg, along with new improved track and other railroad related things from the other side of Harper Road all the way to Cleveland.
