Bring back to and re-release the Classic PS1 Game "Small Soldiers" on PS4 & PS5
The Issue
Personal nostalgia and a sense of collective gaming admiration bring me to petition for the return of the classic game "Small Soldiers". As an ardent fan of this timeless gameplay, like many others out there, I deeply value the ingenuity and thrill that this game presented us back in 1998. Based on the revered movie of the same name, the game captivated us with characters like Chip Hazard and the Gorgonite Archer, attracting a cult following over the years. However, as time passed by, this treasured piece of gaming history has become less and less accessible.
"Small Soldiers" is more than just a game; it represents an era of innovative gaming experiences, offering a unique third-person mode that engaged gamers in a captivating narrative realm. It's heartbreaking that new generations of gamers today might never get a chance to experience this "Small Soldiers" magic.
A game based on the movie of the same name. There are two opposing armies here. On the one hand, Commando Elite, armed soldiers, experienced and dangerous in combat. On the other side are the Gorgonites, the mortal enemies of the Elite. At first, they were all toys that had a computer chip inserted into them to perform certain movements, stand in poses and say military commands. But a misfortune happened - a computer company accidentally mixed up the chips, and a top secret chip with artificial intelligence was inserted into the toys. Thus, a group of "little soldiers" with a very powerful military intelligence arrives in a small town in Ohio.
Today, we make a stand for all the PS1 fans, for all the Small Soldiers' die-hard fans who have been waiting for this monumental moment. This is the perfect opportunity for Sony and Electronic Arts to respect the appeal of their old-school fans and introduce a classic game to new audiences. We request, therefore, the re-release of "Small Soldiers" on the PlayStation store for PS4 and PS5. And add rewind and save feature too.
Believing in the old adage that old is gold, it's high time we brought back this gem from the past. It's not just about revisiting a classic game, but rekindling the nostalgic charm of the '90s that many of us still hold dear.
