Before the pandemic, many Toronto Pearson employees relied on the affordable and delicious Caribbean restaurant in the "comfort zone" of terminal 1. Evidently, GTAA did not provide the business owner with a break on rent while they were physically unable to make any money during the covid pandemic, and the restaurant has not re-opened since the resumption of travel. This is not only an injustice for the local business owner, but also for the 50k+ workers who need to eat healthy food on their hard-earned brakes.

We the employees of Toronto Pearson International airport demand that the airport authority use the astronomical fees they charge us for parking and airport taxes to bring this restaurant back.
