Bring Back the True Call of Duty Zombies Experience — Keep the Soul of Zombies Alive

Bring Back the True Call of Duty Zombies Experience — Keep the Soul of Zombies Alive
O problema
For over a decade, Call of Duty Zombies has been more than just a game mode — it’s been a shared passion, a challenge, and a creative world where players built strategies, discovered secrets, and survived together.
However, in recent titles such as Black Ops 6 and Black Ops 7, many long-time fans feel that the essence of Zombies has been lost. The shift toward simplified mechanics — such as the armor plate system, zombie health, and guided Easter eggs — seems to be an attempt to make the mode more accessible to new players.
But in reality, this approach is having the opposite effect.
Veteran players, who have supported the mode for years, are feeling disconnected and discouraged by the lack of depth, tension, and player-driven discovery that once defined Zombies.
New players aren’t staying, either — the simplified systems remove the excitement of learning, exploring, and improving over time, which are key parts of what made Zombies unique.
Zombies didn’t become beloved because it was simple — it became iconic because it respected its players.
The best entries, like World at War, Black Ops 2, and Black Ops 3, struck a perfect balance between accessibility and mastery. Every map told a story, every round tested skill and creativity, and every match felt different.
We, the Zombies community, ask Treyarch and Activision to reconnect with what made the mode truly special:
Bring back the focus on skill-based survival and player choice.
Keep easter eggs creative and challenging, not guided.
Balance accessibility without removing the depth, mystery, and tension that made Zombies legendary.
The community doesn’t want a simpler Zombies — we want a better Zombies.
A mode that welcomes new players without losing the loyal ones who helped build its legacy.
Sign this petition to show Treyarch that the Zombies community still cares — and that we want the mode to evolve without losing its soul.
