Bring Back The Triborough Bridge!

The Issue

New York is known for many things: great pizza, bad traffic, and an undying ability to argue about literally anything. But here’s something we can all agree on—the RFK Bridge just doesn’t hit the same.

Once upon a time, we had the Triborough Bridge, a name that made sense. Three boroughs. One bridge. Simple, effective, classic—like a New York slice. Then one day, poof! It became the RFK Bridge. No disrespect to the Kennedys, but we’ve got an entire airport named after one already.

Now, in the midst of measles outbreaks, bird flu mutations, and the government slashing 10,000 health workers, we’re asking the real questions: Isn’t it time we take back one of NYC’s most iconic names?

  • Why This Matters:
If military bases, mountains, and bodies of water can be renamed, why not a bridge?
  • The OG name actually describes what the bridge does—it connects three boroughs!
  • Let’s be real, no one calls it RFK anyway.

What We Want:
We petition the State of New York to restore the rightful name of the Triborough Bridge—because some things shouldn’t be messed with, like the subway schedule (too late) or dollar slices (RIP).

Sign the petition now, and let’s reclaim a piece of NYC history—one that’s as solid as our bagels and as iconic as our skyline!
