As a loyal consumer of V Energy drink since it's inception in the 90s, their decision to change the original, crisp, slightly sour and absolutely delicious flavour feels like a betrayal. Frucor Suntory Australia & NZ, in 2023, made this decision in a bid to cut production costs and since then, the taste of V Energy drink is a disaster. Their decision does not only affect me personally, but it has also resulted in widespread disappointment among thousands of other consumers who have cherished this drink for decades.
