Sunbringer is an anticipated characther in Zenless Zone Zero. Many loved her original design as it was regal, ominous, and foreboding. It made her feel powerful, as she should as the inventor of bangboo and one of the original Voidhunters.

During the 3.0 Trailer she was offically revealed as a playable unit, and the glimpses we have gotten of her design show a clear downgrade, having prioritized more traditional ecchi fanservice for appeal rather than her original design which prioritized Regality.

Many fans are dissapointed by this and feel this is representative of a bigger issue in ZZZ, that being the teams fear of experimental design. There have been cases of redesigns before like  Season 2's  Lucia who had her design changed to be more generic which dissapointed many.  And a fear to continue making charachters that are Male,  Anthropomorphic, or Robotic.  ZZZ's Furry and Robot units were a draw of the inital release as not many other gachas were willing to experiment with non human designs. But as the game has progressed more generic units have taken priority, and when a charachter like that is released they are either underpowered, have a shorter banner run, or both. 

We feel The game is playing it too safe, and in return is sabotaging good designs. 

We hope that Sunbringers design is updated to reflect the original one we know and love.
