The OC ended over 5 years ago and is without a doubt the most missed show on television. It was the defining teenage based television show of the decade, yet only received four seasons, totaling in only three and a half years on the air. A show of this magnitude needs to continue its story, may it be on a spin off on The CW with a few core characters like Seth and Ryan, a TV movie, or a full resurrection of the show.

If The OC or a spin off were on The CW or a similar channel it would easily be the highest rated show on the network, Season 4's poor ratings were obviously a result of poor promotion and being put in the toughest time slot on television. Josh Schwartz, none of this can happen without you, we know you are currently working on Gossip Girl and Chuck but The OC is your legacy and four seasons of those characters is not enough for a genre defining show like The OC. We, the fans, want either a spin off, TV movie, or the resurrection of the series. And Josh, with all of the plot holes and alternate realities in Season 4, why not make a resurrection of the show include Marissa alive, killing her was a mistake and I'm sure the fans would be fine if she just magically reappeared. Regardless of the Marissa issue, we want the story of The OC to continue! If 90210 gets a spin off/rebirth, why not The OC, a show that is still culturally relevant? Continue the story of The OC now!
