The Issue

Isaiah Dalton, a beloved educator and former River Ridge intern, holds a special place in the hearts of his students and colleagues. Not only is he an exceptional Middle School Director who has positively impacted countless young lives, but he is also remembered for his iconic Mohawk hairstyle. This vibrant style was more than just a haircut; it was a symbol of his unique approach to teaching, creativity, and engaging persona that inspired his students to embrace their gifts and lead people to Jesus.

The Mohawk became a legend in its own right during his time at River Ridge, becoming a symbol of empowerment and confidence. Students would eagerly await seeing Isaiah with his distinctive ‘do, drawing inspiration from his courage to defy conventional norms and express himself freely. For many of us, it was more than a hairstyle—it was a statement that supported the values we strive to uphold: confidence, creativity, and a standing up for your faith in Christ.

Since transitioning to his role as Middle School Director, the Mohawk has been absent. While Isaiah continues to make a tremendous impact, bringing back this iconic hairstyle would reignite the spirit of creativity and camaraderie that it once inspired among students.

We understand that a hairstyle is personal and respect Isaiah's choice, but we also believe that the return of his Mohawk has the potential to bring joy and motivation to many students in our church community. A simple change in hairstyle could remind students that it's okay to stand out, be different, and stand up for their faith.

We, therefore, kindly request Isaiah Dalton to consider bringing back his legendary Mohawk. This small act can have a massive ripple effect in inspiring and uplifting our church community. Join us in this lighthearted yet meaningful cause—sign this petition to bring back the Mohawk and lets Isaiah know just how much it means to us all!
