We, the undersigned, urge Apple to reintroduce a new iPhone Mini that upholds the design principles championed by Steve Jobs—namely, that a phone should be usable with one hand. In today’s market, many dedicated users are “downgrading” from the larger, more cumbersome models (including my own “downgrade” from the 14 Pro Max) to the older iPhone Mini because it offers unmatched portability, comfort, and ease of use.

Our Reasons:

• One-Handed Usability: Steve Jobs famously believed that a phone should be usable with one hand. The original mini embodied this vision by fitting perfectly in the palm, making everyday tasks easier and more intuitive.

• User Preference for Compact Devices: Despite the trend toward larger screens, many loyal customers are actively choosing to downgrade from bigger models to the more manageable mini versions. This shift shows a strong demand for compact smartphones that don’t compromise on performance.

• Enhanced Presence: A smaller screen minimizes digital distractions, encouraging users to stay engaged with their surroundings and fostering a greater sense of presence in everyday life.

• Enhanced Portability: A mini-sized device is not only easier to carry in pockets and small bags, but it also reduces the fatigue associated with using larger phones for everyday tasks.

We respectfully ask Apple to listen to the voices of countless users who miss the convenience and elegance of a compact, one-handed iPhone. Bring back the Mini—where less really is more.
