Bring Back The G1 Bus To 4 Per Hour
The Issue
G1 Bus frequencies through have been reduced from 4 buses an hour to 3 during peak times at the beginning of May. This will affect carers, schoolchildren, patients getting to St. Georges and Springfield Hospitals and commuting workers who use the G1 bus through Tooting, Streatham, Norbury and Battersea.
Fewer buses will mean crowded buses and longer waits and puts the whole service at risk of further cuts. There was no public consultation by TFL about this 25% reduction in service levels.
We call on TFL to restore the G1 to 4 buses an hour.
This petition will be presented to the Greater London Authority who run TFL on 5th June 2025.
