The "6th Man Section" was a special section at State Farm Arena that was used at Atlanta Hawks home games. The section was dedicated to some of the most passionate fans that Atlanta had to offer. Member of this section tried out for a spot in the section before the season started. Fans selected would get complementary tickets to help rally together fans and show team spirit. This section was consistently loud and lively and significantly improved the fan atmosphere at Atlanta Hawks home games.

Now as of August 20th, 2024, the Atlanta Hawks have decided to get rid of this amazing section so that they can sell these seats out. The executives in the Atlanta Hawks front office have decided to choose profit over fan atmosphere. This will take a huge amount of fun and spirit out of Atlanta Hawks home games.
