Bring Back the EMILY's List Australia Facebook Page

For the last 16 years, EMILY's List Australia has been supporting progressive women in Australian politics. Our candidates are pro-choice, pro-childcare, pro-diversity, pro-equality and pro-equal pay. Some of them include Prime Minister Julia Gillard, Health Minister Tanya Plibersek, Finance Minister Penny Wong, Premier Lara Giddings and Chief Minister Katy Gallagher.

On October 31, we woke up to find our Facebook page had disappeared. We have no idea why. We believe it is connected to an Op Ed we published in The Daily Telegraph the day before, and that anti-women activists have reported our page to Facebook untruthfully.

When women support women, women win. But to do the important job of getting progressive women elected to the House (and the Senate), we need our social media platform back.

We were just trying to #DestroyTheJoint - we didn't know they were going to Destroy our Facebook Page!
