The CG DarkRP server was the first and most influential server within Civil Networks, going strong for many years. After it's shutdown in 2021, there has been an increasing amount of traction to restore the server from old players and curious new players alike. CG DarkRP offered some of the best, bespoke content on any Garry's Mod server - including VBusiness, MaxNet, territory wars and a wide variety of additions that are unavailable elsewhere.

With a large number of players supporting the return of this server, perhaps issues in development/staffing can be amended using the existing pool of experienced CG players who would like the server to return. It is completely expected that if the server were to return in some form, that VIP ranks would be cleared in order to allow CN to profit from the server once again.

By bringing this server back, it would allow players to enjoy an undefined outlet of creativity, full of spontaneous RP that is not possible in other servers within the network. Civil Networks has changed a significant amount since the server's shutdown, and by bringing it back there is an opportunity to cater to different types of RP within the same network whilst also benefitting from the enormous success of the other servers.
