Bring back the B42 interactive map for the PZ community
The Issue
The joys of the Project Zomboid (PZ) community have been largely enhanced by the various tools provided to players which allow them to make informed decisions when playing. One such tool has been the long-standing and beloved B42 Interactive Map. This map has helped the PZ community to thrive while being an essential tool for planning any expeditions in the game world. Unfortunately, this part of the PZ community is in danger because of the recent announcement from the source of the map from a redit post that tis was to stop supporting the single or sole individual whom has taken the job to provide such an amazing resource for the community. is quite the blow considering its listed as official, and after 30 days is no longer
We are at a loss and as to what to do without such a vital tool and resource that has kept us entertained for many years both alone and together within the game world. its a staple for pz. and the transparency of such removal has not gone unnoticed
The PZ managments' recent decision not only affects those individuals whom used the B42 interactive map for game-play purposes, but it affects all those individuals that have come together over such a tool used within the community-based nature of Project Zomboid.
Were simply asking for awnsers and fir the PZ managment to reverse their previous decision regarding the B42 Interactive Map, restoring what was once a hallmark feature of the PZ experience. We also ask that you remember that you are not just making a decision which will affect a tool, but you are making a decision which will affect hundreds, if not thousands of individuals who have relied upon this resource within the PZ environment. its not just a tool its something everyone uses to play and plan their experience
I hope that you will consider our request and keep in mind that the B42 Interactive Map is part of what makes the PZ experience so great. We ask that you please take the time to sign this petition to have the B42 Interactive Map reinstated as a resource for all players new and old so that they too may enjoy zomboid as we do. its not just a map its part of the zomboid experience guys, and the Transparency with your audience creates more good than bad and its part of the integrity of pz .
