Tetris Blitz was a mobile game, released back in 2013 by Electronic Arts (EA).  This game changed how the game of Tetris was played, by introducing multiple new things, like power-ups, and click-to-place. It changed the timeless classic of Tetris for the modern era with a twist and some never-seen features that kept players returning each day. However, in 2019, EA announced the unfortunate closure of Tetris Blitz, and on April 19, 2020, the game and it's servers shutdown, much to the dismay of its loyal fanbase.

This game was one of the most popular Tetris games at the time, and it truly showed how fun Tetris could be. Millions of players spent their hard earned money on this game, upgrading their power-ups, and getting a lot of coins for finishers.
