As a student at Osceola High School, I haven’t ever had a year as rough as this year has been. Senior year is important, having the right staff to guide us in the right direction is crucial to our success. Nonetheless, I can say I had the opportunity to meet the greatest staff a school could ask for, but I’ve also seen some that weren’t so great . Dr. Kennedy, the Osceola High School principal, has ripped seniors of their rights from well deserving seniors like me when I got into an altercation in September that I did intend to stop and did make the staff aware before it even happened . And the situation was not taken has seriously has it should’ve been and I faced penalties my senior year. And I was then ignored time after time and my voice felt so little when it came to reaching out to Dr.Kenndy .And a huge issue Dr. Kennedy has is her prejudice ways and harsh labels and the way she has yet to take accountability that came to my attention one of the few times me and her spoke . I want to see a change. Many of students like me have been stripped of their rights, the ability to be heard, even small things such as using the bathroom. Many of us in this facility have faced bathrooms emergencies due to a locked door . As students, we should feel as though we are able to voice our opinions and be seen. Help us restore the Kowboy spirit as a community. Let’s take immediate action and give staff and students a better environment. Because like all people we .Have  a voice and the right to use it whether it’s here on the media or in your everyday lives .
