Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you know that I had a great conversation this afternoon with Ombuds Jason Warren from Greenville County Schools! He was extremely receptive to the conversation, but did emphasize that the county MOSTLY hears from people who DO NOT want to use the Inclement Weather Days that are built into the calendar and would rather have e-learning over that. Just from the folks I have talked to, this is a loud minority opinion.

So, let's keep this petition going to make sure that they know other people feel the way we do: A healthy balance between Snow Days and E-Learning has to be possible! Using a snow day to enjoy the weather together and then figuring out a sensible solution to asynchronous vs synchronous attendance taking should be EXPLORED!
