1598 a month without power or cable or food...nad a whopping 638ft...that the 1 bedroom...it is far from a new building thats for sure.
Another 100 for my Cat...does she get her own room....NO them I would have to PAY 1798...which would leave me less than 100 dollars for the month..
This is in ETOWN..but the prices anywhere are Higher...or the same...and ITS NOT FAIR..to the hard working people with families trying to get by...
I can only imagine how many families have to live in a 1 bedroom..A pull out sofa in the living room is not considered and extra bedroom for the kids...sorry...but that is how I see it!
CPP gave me a extra 25 dollars this month...I supose they thought with Christmas and all I could Use it..and Use it I did...it went on my Epcor bill Merry XMAS to EPCOR...not me...
When I do have to go out...I see the prices of things..and I cringe...The little extra's we use to buy for the season..nuts, chocolates, many a few candy canes...Eggnog..or a turkey for a family feast...I did the math and between the turkey for 48 bucks not a big one either...potatoes, Yams, Stuffing, salad, and a different veggie...its around 100 bucks..that for a nice kinda christmas dinner with family and friends...I wish I could do that but its outta my grasp.
5 grandkids..yes I love them all...I don't want them to think grandma is cheap...or doesn't care..cause I do more than anything...so for the past 6 months I have put a little aside for Xmas for them..nothing big or expensive, but thoughtful gifts...I am just rying to do the best that I can..Grandparents can't use Santa's Annonymous.. But I have been thinking for maybe starting something for Us as well...
My shifts at the mission are in for the week...and Xmas day Boxing Day and New Years EVE. I do it because Its a right thing to do, Not for a pat on the back or atta girl...Makes me see...that Yes this could be me as well...
They are not the low lfe of the city..the people no one wants around..They are human's like everyone else..who have fallen on hard times..with the rent out of their reach...The singles, the last in line to get anything..And that is not right either..They should get the same respect as everyone else who is just rying to get BY!
Lets keep passing this on...Lets start MAKING SOME NOISE...we are tried we are stressed and we are fed UP.....
January is coming quickly I do hope we can break 10,000 I am thankful for all who have signed...and keep passing it one.
