Yes the holidays are here it seems.

It also seems it starts a little earlier every year. Me I don't much care for the holidays anymore..Could be my age, or the fact I can't afford anything anymore.

Rent is taking every cent I got!

I know its not about the gifts, for me anyhow I am good with a homemade card. 

But there is a lot of young families out there..thinking right now What are we going to do!

Little Suzie and Little Billy who belive in Santa, they have made their list, maybe even mailed their letters to the big GUY in the red suit..cause they still believe...That santa is going to bring the something one Christmas Morning! The Parents are trying really hard..but like every other month there is more month than Money!

So up goes the Mantal Health problems, the drinking and drugs...feeling like a faliure...You are not a faliure...You are all like everyone doing the best we can when we can't seem to get a break..Not on Food or Heat or Bills.

They don't stop coming just because it is the season!

The food banks are at breaking point with record number of people needing them. I always take my name off..guilt maybe...I don't want to take  something that could be going to a child... I am ok I won't starve...My mom taught me a very long time ago how to make a lot of things stretch! After I buy Juice I dump it into a jug and add more water! Even through it is not an add water JUICE. i shop the bargin bins! Not much in my house is not no name or on sale..Healthy probably not but it is what it is!

Santa's annyomous, Is in big demand this Year! More so than ever, as a grandparent I can't use it...But I will donate! Not anything big...but it was there many years when I needed it with my children when they were small..so I am a firm believer in paying it forward!

I have my name in at the mission to help out...I find it a better way to spend my Xmas day then sitting in my house scowling and being the grinch!  I will go see my grandkids for a bit but they are all teenagers now and well I am just old to them...

So for very many people this is a very stressful time..not festive...

Our rent has to be paid number one Scrooge..the government and the Slumlords...they don't care its the holidays...they want their money ..or your OUT..Being Homeless for christmas is not on anyone's  list! But for many families it is a sad realtity...

I know the government can see the numbers..see the homeless..the camps the children..the sadness.
Lets make this the last holiday season we go through this...

Lets tell them thats it we have had enough...We want a place to live we can afford...food heat and maybe just a little extra..cause we are fed UP!! Stop with the empty promises! We have heard enough of those...Keep saying they are going to do something about the greed at the grocery stores..and yet they just keep talking about it..Do Something!!! They have the power to do something! Stop blowing smoke and Do it already!

Give us a dam break! Cause we have given it our all...and yet we keep falling behind!

Please keep signing ..keep passing it on..the new Year is coming I am hopeful we will break the 10,000 mark...When I start getting the ducks in a row..and start making waves! But I can't do it without all of YOU so thank so much for signing! I think we can do this if we just stick together.....
