I was born after the 90s, but I’ve always heard how amazing it was to grow up then. Kids played outside until the streetlights came on, neighborhoods were alive, Halloween streets were packed, and families had movie nights with Blockbuster rentals.

Today, too many kids are stuck on screens instead of building real memories. Vegreville can change that. We can bring back the best parts of the 90s childhood for today’s kids and families.

This petition calls for:

More community events like block parties, outdoor movie nights, and Halloween festivals
Safer, more walkable neighborhoods where kids can play freely
Support for after-school activities that keep kids active and social
A “retro community vibe” that helps us reconnect with each other
Let’s make Vegreville the town where childhood feels alive again. Together, we can create a place where kids grow up with friendships, laughter, and community — not just screens.
