The issue

For over 7 years, @raveresidence has been more than just an Instagram page — it’s been a home for the global dance music community. With over 530,000 followers, we’ve shared underground music, supported emerging artists, and built real connections between people and the culture they love.

On 22nd April 2025, Instagram permanently removed the account — not because of harmful content, hate, or community violations, but because of a single IP claim from a corporate rights holder. The issue has already been resolved, and the claim is being retracted.

But still, the account remains down.

We’ve received overwhelming support from the electronic scene. Artists like The Chainsmokers, Diplo, Like Mike, and leading pages such as Techno & House Music and We Rave You have publicly backed us. This isn’t just about one creator losing a page — it’s about platforms silencing the very communities that make them thrive.

Instagram’s decision erases:

  • Years of cultural contribution
  • Thousands of artist spotlights
  • A global network of fans, promoters, labels & festivals

We are asking Meta and Instagram to review the case and reinstate @raveresidence — a platform built with love, respect, and a real purpose: to elevate the sound of the underground.

If you believe in protecting music communities, If you believe creators deserve a fair process, If you’ve ever discovered a song, artist, or event through Rave Residence — Please sign and share.

Let’s show Meta that this culture matters.
