Bring Back Physical and Printable MLB Tickets

Bring Back Physical and Printable MLB Tickets
The Issue
Using digital tickets for Major League Baseball games has become increasingly time-consuming and annoying. If my phone dies while I'm about to attend a game, I can't even get in. Some of my friends aren't very tech-savvy, so it becomes a struggle for them to access their tickets. Recently, it took over an hour just to help a friend accept a digital ticket. The current system with digital-only options creates hassles that could be avoided with the option for physical or printable tickets.
While technology is supposed to make life easier, in the case of accessing baseball games, it can sometimes feel like more of a hindrance. The moments spent outside the stadium frantically trying to access a digital ticket are moments taken away from the enjoyment of the game. Moreover, not everyone owns a smartphone or knows how to operate ticketing apps—leaving many fans, particularly the elderly and less tech-savvy individuals, at a disadvantage.
Printing tickets or offering physical ones at will call counters would cater to a broader range of fans, allowing them to enjoy the game without technological snags. Across other major sporting events, having both digital and physical ticket options ensures a smoother entry process and enhances the overall experience.
Major League Baseball has the power to influence change and make watching America’s pastime easier and more enjoyable for everyone. Let's call on MLB to offer physical and printable tickets again. Sign this petition to show your support for a more fan-friendly ticketing system.
Today I spent an hour trying to help my friend accept a free field level ticket that I sent him to see the Yankees vs the Padres.
The other day I went with friends and one of our digital tickets did not work. Am I the only one who misses physical tickets?
