The Issue

For as long as we can remember, painting your senior parking spot was a right of passage and a tradition handed down for generations at Parsippany High School.  Students looked forward to getting their license and then being able to earn and create their own parking spot at school.  For many recent years it took a lot of hard work to do this.  The parking lot was in a serious state of disrepair.  Despite this, rising seniors would show up with friends and family in the hot summer heat and take days to prepare the parking spot by shoveling gravel, leveling the area, patching holes and then creating one of a kind pieces of artwork that made them proud to have earned their spot. They spared no expense.  It brought a sense of culture, community, school spirit and pride. The parking lot has now been paved and the option to paint your senior spot has been revoked.  We respectfully request that this privilege be returned to the seniors at PHS !!  Below please see the numerous signatures we have obtained from students and the community supporting our cause.  Thank you for your consideration.

BY SIGNING BELOW YOU AGREE WITH THE REQUEST OF THE RISING SENIORS TO REINSTATE THE PAINTING OF THE SENIOR PARKING SPOTS AT PHS:       GO REDHAWKS!!!!
