The beachy eclectic holiday post lights have been a unique and long standing tradition in Surf City for years - as residents and visitors, we love the festive cozy feeling and holiday spirit they evoke when driving on the island during the month of December.

Without them, much is missing. We don't feel the friendliness and charm of our quaint beach town as we have before. Our sense of community seems off - less unique, more generic.

As participating members of this community- tax payers, home owners, visitors, patrons, renters, business owners, concerned citizens, children and children at heart, please bring them back!

We understand the town has bigger issues, yet this one simple request to light our main residential streets as well as business corridor with beach themed lights is a simple and obtainable one to fulfill next year.
