Mr. Perez was a teacher at Valley View High School, he was considered one of the best teachers on the campus and one of the kindest too. On Friday, November 8th, Mr. Perez had, to be fair, an unprofessional moment and talked about the recent 2024 election and his mass-disappointment that Donald J. Trump had won. 

Now, if any other teacher had done this, a minor suspension would be expected, but as an AP World Teacher, it would be expected that he would cover the election in some way. Mr. Perez actions were very unprofessional, and we're not here defending what he did, we're here defending a man's life and also the safety and protection of the student/teachers of Valley View High School

On the same day, this tweet was made by Corey A. DeAngelis, a right wing commentator on X. Not only does this tweet objectively gets facts wrong, it endangers the lives of students and teachers by doxxing the location of the school, the district, and the amount of money Mr. Perez as well as the Superintendent of Moreno Valley School District Alejandro Ruvalcaba makes.

This directly puts us in danger

Now anyone can find this school and directly harass all of us. Mr. Perez can most likely never find a job as an educator ever again because of the negative media coverage (which isn't even true)

Student's aren't asking for much, we just want simple things

• Bring Back Mr. Perez as a teacher at Valley View High School
• Have equal punishment for all teachers, no matter the political background
• Listen to the students and their wants/needs
