So when I first saw Minecraft Earth on the app store, I was happy that there was a new Minecraft game similar to Pokemon Go, but with its own twist to it. Fast forward to around January 2020, when I went back to the app, and saw the Sunset update. I was devastated that they were getting rid of it for good in June. Even later, during summer 2024, I found out that they got rid of it due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Around this time, I tried finding other location-based games similar to Minecraft Earth to try to scratch that itch of playing it again, but nothing worked. Then, I thought, if the COVID-19 pandemic is over, why not bring back Minecraft Earth? Their whole reason for getting rid of it was the pandemic, and the pandemic's been over for years now, so why not just bring it back?
