Bring back Mario35!
The Issue
The point of this petition is to show Nintendo the kind of love and support Mario35 has behind it, so they will bring it back!
Mario35 was a hectic battle royal game where 35 players from around the world would race to see who could make it the farthest. Everyone got their own full screen to play in, never seeing the other players in your play area, meant never having to worry about bumping into each other. Sounds simple enough. Right? But it was anything but. With every enemy you kill, you send it to the other players to give them yet another enemy to worry about in hopes of slowing them down or killing them. (You get credit for a death if it lead to their untimely demise). You can strategize by sending it to people with the most amount of coins or nearest to death. Or, if you have a nemesis (like I did), send it directly to him, no one else but him. The game was easy to pick up, but mastering it, now that would make you the stuff of legend. However....
Mario35 was announced on september 3rd, 2020, and ran for just 6 months from: October 1st, 2020, to March 31st 2021. The game was only released for the 6 months to celebrate Mario's 35th anniversary. But it could have been so much more than that. If given enough time and proper ads, this game could have been nintendo's killer app to sell their online subscription service, reaching far more subscribers than ever before. Mario35 could have done for Nintendo what Halo 2 did for Microsoft way back in 2004 with the original Xbox.
