I am somewhat puzzled by the correspondence regarding Kevin Summerfield. I have not been privy to the issue at hand regarding his administrative leave. It sounds like a "Human Resources/personnel issue that I am not familiar with as well as the fact that it is not within my purview [in the School Board] to respond especially when I have no official facts to consider.

If there is a formal process being undertaken, it would be wise and prudent to utilize that procedure first and foremost.

At this point I would advise Kevin and his supporters to make an appeal to the proper authority in this area and produce his argument to them and the superintendent Dr Miriam Mickelson by way of an appeal.
