Growing up in Dayton, Ohio, Jamie Simpson was always the most accurate meteorologist. His forecasts were spot on and we trusted him completely. If he said it would rain, we brought our umbrellas. If he said it would be hot outside and to drink water - we drank the water if we were outside. If he said there would be snow…we knew to have our coats with us.

Since Jamie got fired from WHIO meteorology, the people of Dayton like myself have been rained on (unbeknownst to us it would rain). It is CRITICAL TO THE FUTURE OF DAYTON OHIO THAT JAMIE SIMPSON COMES BACK.

Jamie has over 20 years of experience in meteorology and has won numerous awards for his work. He is a trusted source for weather information not just in Dayton but across the country.

The current meteorologists at WHIO are not as accurate as Jamie was and this has caused problems for many people in Dayton who rely on accurate weather forecasts for their daily lives.

We urge WHIO management to bring back Jamie Simpson as their lead meteorologist so that we can once again trust that our weather forecasts will be accurate and reliable.
