I recently started collecting Pop Mart figures, and one of the things that drew me in was how passionate and joyful the community is. When the Why So Serious series was announced, I saw how excited collectors were — but also how disappointed many felt when they realized hint cards weren’t available. Not only are hint cards not allowed for Why So Serious, Pop Mart has restricted the use of them for Skullpanda You Found Me, Celebrating The Moment, Molly Zootopia 2, Hirono Monster Carnival, Disney Mickey Remixed, Powerpuff Girl Party Surprise, Peach Riot Rush Hour, and all new sets being dropped on 10/30, amongst others.

I haven’t used hint cards myself yet, but I’ve seen how much fun and fairness they add to collecting. They turn each box into a little adventure and help collectors feel more connected to their favorite figures. It’s sad to see that part of the experience being taken away, especially for people who love the thrill of collecting together.

Pop Mart has built such a creative and supportive fan base. Bringing back hint cards for all series would show that they value what makes this community so special: the joy, excitement, and sense of belonging that comes from collecting together.
