Bring back Hank 3 for a 2027 tour
The Issue
To Shelton Hank Williams III,
It's been far too long for those of us who thrive on the raw energy and soul of independent outlaw country and hellbilly music. For over ten years, fans like myself have felt the sting of an unfillable void in the music scene—a void left by the absence of the true king, Hank Williams III. You have given us music that speaks directly to the wild and rebellious spirit within us, a spirit that no other artist has been able to replicate. There are imitators, yet your unique fusion of country, punk, and metal remains unparalleled.
We, as part of a massive global community, have been starved of the electrifying presence you command on stage. Your hiatus has been felt deeply, and the landscape of independent music suffers without an authentic hellraiser to take the helm. We believe that only you can resuscitate the genre that defies the norms and speaks truth to authenticity.
The world still craves the defiant and unfiltered sounds that only you can provide, Shelton. The legacy of your grandfather, Hank Williams Sr, and your father, Hank Williams Jr., has elevated country music to new heights; meanwhile, you have carried the torch into the realm of the uncharted, unearthing a sound that stands uniquely yours. It's clear that the stage is yearning for your return, and so are your fans who connect deeply with your message and music.
A 2027 Outlaw Country & Hellbilly Tour is not just any typical tour. It's an opportunity to reignite a passion that the music world so desperately needs right now. We envision a vibrant return, which not only breathes new life into your discography with fresh songs but also revives the vibrant, communal concert experience we all cherish.
We ask that you break the silence, to lift that microphone, step back into the studio, and onto the stage where you belong. Know that the demand for your return is personal to us. Events like this define an era and leave lasting memories.
We understand life throws curveballs, and circumstances change. Still, it would mean the world to the many of us who've followed your journey to see you re-embrace your calling. Together, let us make the music scenes' hearts beat stronger and fiercely again. Let 2027 be remembered as the year Hank 3 returned triumphant!
Please, Shelton Hank Williams III, consider this heartfelt plea from your fans. Let’s bring back our legendary anthem-maker. We need your voice, your presence, your unconquered spirit.
Sign this petition and let’s get Hank 3 back where he belongs: out on the road and in our hearts.
