We, the loyal fans of SpongeBob Squarepants, are deeply impacted by the removal of the SpongeBob popsicle's iconic gumball eyes. These delicious frozen treats have been an important part of many of our childhoods. Although this is a likely attempt by the manufacturers to reduce production costs, there is no reason to take away something that means so much to us. 

The new eyes are small and barely tastable. Also, they are made out of chocolate and do not fit the look and feel of the popsicle. This is insulting to not only everyone who enjoys SpongeBob popsicles, but even to SpongeBob. The gumballs were the best part of the popsicle, and they made the popsicle look much more iconic.
