The Issue

We, the undersigned, are asking Landmark Cinemas Orleans to reconsider its recent transition to self-service concession ordering.

Going to the movies should be a fun, convenient, and welcoming experience for everyone. Instead, customers are now required to place their own orders through touchscreen kiosks, manually enter gift card information, take a number, and wait to be called when their order is ready.

While technology can improve efficiency, many customers feel this change has made the experience more frustrating rather than more convenient. Seniors, parents managing children, and those less comfortable with technology can find the process confusing, stressful, and time-consuming.

Moviegoers are already paying premium ticket and concession prices. We believe customers should have the option of receiving personal service from a staff member at the concession counter rather than being required to use a kiosk.

We respectfully ask Landmark Cinemas Orleans to restore staffed concession ordering as a permanent option alongside self-service kiosks, ensuring all guests can enjoy a simple, accessible, and customer-friendly experience.

Our goal is not to eliminate technology, but to preserve customer choice and the level of service that moviegoers have come to expect.
