There are residents in Brantford that fully rely on the city bus as their only form of transportation. Having buses run every hour is completely unacceptable.

I am now having to spend money I can't afford to take ubers to get my son to his medical appointments. Our bus service has been cut in half, but we are still paying the same amount. My son, whom has autism, has difficulty waiting for long periods of time, and this becomes a safety issue for him.

There are elderly residents, and people with medical conditions that have had to wait 40 minutes for a bus in the extreme heat. Not to mention the fact the buses are packed full, which is not safe in the midst of covid.

People are having to either leave for work an hour earlier, or arrive late due to the lack of bus service, and then tired after working a long shift have to wait to come home or walk. And if you are a young woman at night, that's not really safe. 

Then there are people who were unaware of the fact that the # 7 comes on the half hour, and waited and waited for their bus. Noone bothered to tell them. That is just not right.

The residents of Brantford want half hour service reinstated now. We cannot wait until September. 

Let's fix this, and bring back regular service now before this lack of service costs the residents of Brantford more than it already has.
